The difficulty was placing the 3.3 and 5 V power pins too close together on the GPIO header. This can not be easily fixed due to compatibility with existing hats and tutorials.Hey,
sadly my Pi5 has meet with a short between 3.3 and 5V.
Im Wondering. This Problem was prominent on Rp3. How can it be that this Problem has not been resoved on Pi5(With a failsave for example).
I think beginners could make this mistake easily by trying different things.
Does anybody know why this still happens, and if there is a solution?
Thanks in advance
A similar difficulty happened in the 70s with the S-100 bus which became an industry standard.

How many hats actually use the 3.3V pin?
