You can start off by put a a couple of decoupling capacitors as close as you can across the power pins of the ADC, something like 10uF and 1000pF.
If it has a voltage reference pin then that probably needs a decoupling capacitor as well.
Have a look at the manufacturer's data sheets for the device.
I sometimes solder the capacitors to the top of the pins.
