USB TV dongles offer much more choice and you can have more than one with one for TV and one for cable. If they are limited to adjacent channels, you can plug in more.
I have a signal splitter to feed the TV and one USB DVB device as the Olympics are typically on two channels. I can record the marathon while watching something interesting.![:D]( "Very Happy")
The marathon is of interest to me as I attempted many. (Completed most!) Unfortunately one marathon had really bad coverage due to the Australian coverage being just an American feed and it mostly featured an American running way back in the field. Lots of coverage to fast forward. Plus it is sometimes in a difficult time zone.
I found with my antenna a two way splitter works but the signal is too weak for a four way splitter when using my TV and my dongle.
