I tried sudo apt --autoremove purge.
Using both apps after the command didn't work, but using network-manager-openvpn alone did![😊]()
(as you wrote).

Installed WireGuard according to PrivateVPN's guide.
It works with Pi![😊]()
Will test the OpenVPN CLI a bit later when I get some spare time and leave a short update here for those interested
