Either 70mA or 140mA per USB port with the earliest Pi 1s, at this remove, not sure which (after all, it's been over 12 years!). I used to use them with keyboard and mouse directly attached. Slightly later versions swapped 0 Ohm resistors for the polyfuses and had the 600mA limit. You can tell the difference at a glance. The polyfuses were green and the 0 Ohm resistors were black.
It was 140mA fuses on the original Pi 1B. The one with the resistors didn't have a fixed limit, but the main fuse was 1.1A which covered the Pi, the GPIO and the USBs.
